Start off your summer with our FIRST DRAFT Camp, where you will get a head start on writing and researching speeches and cases! Don't miss the chance to join our FINAL DRAFT Camp at summer's end, to polish your work and add those final touches! Plus, between these two camps, our amazing Helmsmen Institute coaches are available for coaching sessions to provide mentorship, coaching, and invaluable feedback.

Our Online Speech & Debate Camps are the perfect solution for competitors who are looking for a flexible camp-from-home option.
Online Speech Camp provides comprehensive training to highlight the distinct features of each speech category and every speech event. Our coaching staff is committed to growing and refining each student's abilities to achieve new levels of success.
Online Debate Camp is for all skill levels in Lincoln Douglas, Team Policy, and Parliamentary debate. Participants explore the new resolutions, engage in sessions focused on case writing and delivery, and learn strategies and research skills to enhance their abilities.

QUESTION: Can I sign up for just one online camp? ANSWER: Yes, you can sign up for either FIRST DRAFT or FINAL DRAFT Camp. However, to achieve the best benefit, we recommend both.
QUESTION: Is FIRST DRAFT Camp just for novices? ANSWER: No, both FIRST DRAFT and FINAL DRAFT Camps are for novice, intermediate and advanced speakers and debaters.
QUESTION: How does private coaching work? ANSWER: Private coaching packages can be purchased at the time of registration for camp. Students schedule online coaching sessions with Helmsmen Institute coaches at everyone's convenience.
QUESTION: Isn't this going to be prohibitively expensive? ANSWER: We are committed to keeping our prices low and the quality of our work high. When compared to other camps, we think you will find the Helmsmen Camps and private coaching packages very reasonably priced.
